The Fertility Society of Australia is constantly evolving and facing new challenges. It is leading and adapting to change in the study and clinical application of knowledge relating to human reproduction. The Society creates a forum for national and global discussion on infertility, and it facilitates an interdisciplinary approach to these problems. It advocates for and lobbies on behalf of people experiencing infertility and constantly strives to keep its members informed of developments and newfound knowledge in the study of human reproduction. The Society's website is pivotal in the effort to communicate with members and the broader community. It will become an increasingly valuable resource for Society members wishing to keep abreast with exciting developments in the field of infertility research and treatment. The Fertility Society of Australia is a non-profit organisation representing a group of professionals and other related individuals with an interest in fertility. The Fertility Society of Australia's role is to promote professional excellence among the medical specialists, scientists, nurses and counsellors working in the field of assisted reproduction and fertility and to promote research and dissemination of scientific information within the membership. Applications for membership are welcomed from individuals with an interest in fertility. New members The application for membership must be made in writing and the form can be downloaded.
The application must be signed by the applicant and their proposer and seconder. Completed applications should be sent to: The Board will consider applications received for membership at the next Board meeting and applicants will be notified in writing within two weeks of the meeting. The Board meets a minimum of four times per year.
